Where's TJ?: "Designed by famed sculptor Karl Bitter and sitting at the heart of the Missouri History Museum, the marble statue was originally commissioned by the Louisiana Purchase Company as a lasting monument to the nation's third president.
The Jefferson Memorial Building, built from 1911 to 1913 with proceeds from the 1904 World's Fair (Louisiana Purchase Exposition), was the first national monument to President Thomas Jefferson. Built on the site of the main entrance to the World's Fair, the building commemorated Thomas Jefferson’s role in the Louisiana Purchase. Thousands of St. Louis citizens stood within its loggia and on its lawn in 1913 and watched with delight as a grand parade concluded with the unveiling of Karl Bitter’s marble statue of our country’s third president."

Where's TJ?: This statue by George Lundeen "sits in front of the Old Courthouse. It was dedicated by the City of Decatur on Oct. 23, 2000, to the memory of U.S. Senator Paul D. Coverdell (Jan. 20, 1939-July 18, 2000). Senator Coverdell devoted his life and career to the principles of liberty set forth by Thomas Jefferson."

Where's TJ?: Jefferson Parish was named after Jefferson in 1825, a year before he died. This bronze statue greets visitors to the Jefferson Parish General Government Building in Gretna. The monument was dedicated December 6, 1975, by the Jefferson Parish Historical Commission.

Where's TJ?: Dedicated on July 4, 2006
"The only public statue of Jefferson in Paris was installed on the Left bank of the Seine, not far from where Jefferson lived when he was minister to France. It is catty-cornered from the Palace of the Legion of Honor, which inspired Jefferson’s design for Monticello."
